Press: The Knot Michigan

This wedding season has been so busy that I had neglected to share my joy in having my calligraphy be a part of The Knot Michigan's Fall/Winter 2009 issue! I was thrilled when Jodi Bos of In Any Event told me that the wedding she coordinated (and I did the calligraphy for) was going to be a part of the magazine. Check out the five page spread (pages 50-56) to see more delightful pictures. Here are just a few of my calligraphy on the big day. Thanks to Jen Kroll for some more amazing pics.

Calligraphy Signs - Say What You Mean

You have something really important to tell your guests on your big day, but you just aren't sure how to do it. The answer is a beautiful calligraphy sign! Whether it is just directing them where to put the cards or expressing your utmost joy...it can't look any better in a dazzling frame with captivating calligraphy! Check out two of my latest signs...

Even though these are 8x10 signs. I can do any size. From a small tent card the size of an escort card, to a large banner. Anything you can think up I can provide!

Orchard Chic Wedding - Invitations

These are the invitations to my sister's chic orchard wedding. All calligraphy was either handwritten (like the envelopes) or scanned into the computer from the original artwork and printed on each invitation. The envelopes were chocolate brown with ivory calligraphy!

The awesome envelopes!

This is the envelopement that my sis sewed one by one for the invites!

This is their wedding logo that you will see other places!

I love doing single words to pop out on the invites. These were just her style.

Last but not least...the RSVP card and envelope. The envelopes were stamped with a custom stamp I made for them with their address. This stamp can be used in the future for Christmas cards and baby announcements (ok I'm thinking way ahead!). I loved the colors she picked. Can't wait to show off the wedding pictures....coming soon!

Calligraphy Banners

Want a fun idea for decorating a special party, like a shower! I made these "Love is in the air" banners for an Etsy shopper who was hosting a fabulous themed wedding shower. Who wouldn't love a bridesmaid this creative. Can't wait to show you the name tags she had custom made too!
A banner like this is sketched first then painted with a paint brush and calligraphy ink that is actually watered down paint, called gouache. This banner has apple green, chocolate brown and black ink. Want your own banner? Just let me know. I love creating anything that you can think up! And as always, I can provide it without breaking any bank!

Wooden Calligraphy Signs

Who doesn't LOVE the little details? I have recieved many requests this year for wedding signs. They can be rustic, beachy, or classic but they sure make for a great way to welcome your guests. I love this photo by Jen Kroll of the stunning wedding of my beloved sister, Jen. I had such a fun time making these special pieces for her. I will share more from her big day soon!

Designs by Robyn Love on Etsy

I have been a busy bee setting up shop on Etsy. You can find tons of fun new products there that I have to offer plus we can convo about custom orders that you would like to have. Working through Etsy now gives me an easy avenue to accept credit cards...which should please my customers! Please check out my shop and come back often to see what create things I am conjuring up.

Jillian's Graduation and Captivating Calligraphy

I just had to share with everyone this amazing graduation party....from high school! Jodi Bos of In Any Event designed a spectacular event! She asked me to create a Thank You sign (below) and labels for the Candy Bar! I designed a new font in honor of Jillian which I will be offering from now on. Everything turned out fabulous. Thanks to Jen Kroll for the perfect photographs yet again. PS she is also doing the photography for my sister's wedding!!!

Beautiful tables!

The new Jillian font!

Lounge area....relaxing huh?

Fun Thank You sign!
