Designs by Robyn Love has been receiving loads of requested for Watercolor Maps to be used as special, personalized gifts. Watercolor maps can show many journeys and locations. This map is one of my favorites. It is the family story of the Bells. The father commissioned me to design this oversized map (24 x 14") for his bride of many years. It was a surprise to be framed and hung in the den. The style was vintage Americana. And it was to depict all the families favorite places, past times, and previous homesteads! It really captured family memories and is a wonder idea for a gift.

Last week I had a great time working on this watercolor wedding map with calligraphy of this countryside wedding in England. Dorset County to be exact. I love that the bride wanted so many fun animals and local attractions. This is going to make for one awesome invitation. Below you see the original in all its glory! New Orleans Magnet Wedding Maps; Save the Date

I love new products. Although save the date magnets are not a new idea, this was my first crack at these fancy little decor items. The New Orleans watercolor wedding map here is one of my favorites. It depicted the French quarter and the second line band which are NOLA's signature.

For those of you who are new to my watercolor wedding maps, these are each custom painted for my clients. They pick the places, the style, the colors, the font, and the layout. All wording is personalized for the occasion. My watercolor wedding maps can be used inside your invitation, as a thank you card, in a welcome bag, or on the front of a weekend program. Calligraphy Wine label table numbers

It is always great to find something special and unique when you are looking for anything, especially when it comes to your wedding. This last season I designed a product that is just that. Jenna's Calligraphy Letterpress Wedding Invitations

The newest addition to our shop at Designs by Robyn Love is this lovely and luxurious letterpress wedding invitation with vintage hand written calligraphy. Jenna loved my "Remley" font and wanted her RSVP to stand out a bit. So the invitation is very traditional, while the RSVP gives the guests a little grin. Together they are just a perfect pair.

I was so excited when Courtney contacted me to design this Ralph Lauren Polo inspired watercolor wedding map. I just love a design challenge. So, with tons of photos to give me heading I painted this fresh map for Abby and Bart's wedding! We even had a great backside to their save the date. I will post as soon as I have pictures!

Washington Calligraphy and Watercolor Wedding Map

It is the end of a crazy week for me. I have been diligently preparing for one of my clients, Erika, project. And now that it is shipped out the door I thought I would share her fun and vintage calligraphy wedding map with you.

What a fun Jewel tone vintage wedding scheme!! This excites me to design something fun and eye opening. I could think of so many different patterns that would look lovely up against these details.

A sunset stroll

This picture makes me remember my wedding day. What joy! Our annerversary is coming up in two weeks and it will be four years. Haven't really thought too much about what we are going to do, but that is because mostly we celebrate daily our family. One of our favorite things to do together is to walk. So this picture really reminds me of a sunset stroll with my hubby. Enjoy this eye candy!!
