Victoria 1: Watercolor and Calligraphy Wedding Programs

I couldn't image a better client than what I found in Victoria. She was all trust in my style and judgment to design all her wedding day pieces just perfect. Today I would like to share with you these wonderful programs that I custom designed for her beautiful UK countryside wedding.

The calligraphy graces each page in my Lizzy font. Gaumond is the perfect companion. Then parts of the calligraphy watercolor map from her save the dates and invitations are placed on each page to carry the theme of this old world romance! Enjoy!!!

Interested in your own programs? Please contact me anytime to discuss your own. Prices starting at $200.00 for a set of 100.

Charleston, South Carolina Calligraphy Watercolor Wedding Map

Today I am sharing another of my latest Calligraphy watercolor wedding maps. This one was used by Katherine and Lucas and a Save the Date for their upcoming event in Charleston, South Carolina. They have a passion for their city and it showed in the items they wanted to depict! It was so fun to design this map, and I hope to work with the lovely Katherine again in the future!

Press: The Knot Michigan

This wedding season has been so busy that I had neglected to share my joy in having my calligraphy be a part of The Knot Michigan's Fall/Winter 2009 issue! I was thrilled when Jodi Bos of In Any Event told me that the wedding she coordinated (and I did the calligraphy for) was going to be a part of the magazine. Check out the five page spread (pages 50-56) to see more delightful pictures. Here are just a few of my calligraphy on the big day. Thanks to Jen Kroll for some more amazing pics.

Event Stationers: Syd Design of Grand Rapids, MI

One day I received an networking e-mail from Abbey Fowler of Syd Design. I checked out her website and was so very pleased that I wanted to share my new friend with the blogging world. The company is small and the designs are clean and fresh. I just fell in love with her designs. Just look at those cute little details. And if my ears hear right she boasts custom work comparible to non-custom prices. If you are looking for wedding stationary in the Midwest, stop by to see for yourself if a Syd Design wouldn't just spice up your day!

Looking Back::Event Three

If you are looking for some amazing inspiration for a warm summer wedding, check out this oneg that the "practically perfect in every way" Jodi Bos (or was that Mary Poppins) of In Any Event put on last August. And I am so happy to report will be featured as a three page spread in the 2009 Fall/Winter issue of The Knot!

It started out with these exceptional invites and captivating calligraphy that I named Lizzy after the bride.

Then comes the decorations, bringing together the fun color scheme...orange, blue and green!

I just adore how the escort cards were just growing out of some grass!
This photo also by Jen Kroll Photography, just zoomed a little so you can see the calligraphy.

I can't help but stare at this dining room and love how the outdoors were brought inside!

Some place cards by yours truly right at the top here.
And the simple table numbers (again my own design) look so fancy coming out of a pot of flowers.
My favorite shot for you to see the color scheme played out and my place cards shining right in the middle!

This photo is just spectacular...

And the cake design to die for....
